I've been away for a long while, and just got back from a trip, supporting some friends.

To my deep sadness, I found another friend in need, but this time, I have at least a little more power to help! 
All it takes is a click.

I wish I had been able to update right afterwards but had to immediately leave for work. Just got home a moment ago. I was called in by the vet around 2am. Toby's condition was deteriorating rapidly. He had been stable for a short while but his chest cavity was continuously filling with more fluid. Draining it was only temporarily helpful. The mass was still causing him a lot of difficulty breathing. I got there quickly and was able to spend my last 30 minutes cradling him before he was euthanized in my arms. 
This particular condition is rare but known for being a silent and fast killer. His symptoms were unnoticeable until things were bad enough that he couldn't compensate for them. It was barely two days ago that I'd taken him in thinking all he had was constipation and maybe a partial blockage causing some gas buildup. As soon as we knew about the mass I knew it would only be a matter of time. I just didn't think it would be so soon.

Alex's cat, Toby has been such a life saver. A true furry hero, and such a loving family member. I'm not around much for Alex, but I could always rest well, knowing that his companion was there. 

But now this furry friend needs help. He needs your help t make him comfortable, and he needs us to help and support his owner in ways that he cannot. 

Seriously, I love this cat, and I love his owner even more, so if you could possibly spare even a few seconds of your time, I would be SO very very grateful!

I've been following this artist on DA for several years now, as well as other places. I fell in absolute love with his 30 minute speedpaints, and now he has an art book available for purchase that features a wide range collection of his work! 


This book is of 154 pages of all art and no bullshit. 
It takes you on one hell of a ride, showing you a fantastic marriage of post apocalyptic and anti-utopian cyber genres. 
The level of detail butts heads with a tasteful grungy feel that makes the entire collection feel like a peak inside Torvenius' world. 

This book is going to inspire a lot of art from me, as we all know, I love my mutants and monsters, and can't wait to start some doodles of my own! 

This is a soft cover book, with a silicone finish on the cover, making it a velvety matte texture. 
(Seriously, I can't stop running my fingers over it!)
